There are striking similarities between the last period of their civilization and ours today.  I feel the stories of Lemuria and Atlantis have many lessons for us.  Some which are particularly meaningful to me are:

• Learn who we are and where we came from. This will help us to recover the unconscious memories of the terrible cataclysmic scenes of which we were victims in the past and enable us to respond to problems with courage rather than fear.

• Understand that our ancestors' civilizations collapsed due to strife, pollution and crime as well as terrible natural catastrophes. As both Plato and Edgar Cayce said, there is a connection between them.

• As we become aware of  the spiritual decay of the human race and the destruction of our planet it is important to work toward improving the problems, first within our hearts, then within our families, work and community. We're all connected energetically and, as more and more of us work toward peace, the focus of the entire planet will gradually shift.

• Break free from the competing negative thought forms of news programs, advertising campaigns and political lies that influence us psychically, and therefore physically.

• We're limiting our reality to the physical world. Help our children to develop the right side of their brains by respecting their insights and dreams as our distant ancestors did in Lemuria and Atlantis. Children are more open to their psychic senses, since they are still very close to the other side of life and their speech isn't developed. They have to rely on their feelings, or their senses, to relate to the physical world.

• Strive for a world where forces work together and apart for a  new future, a new Earth, in which technology and wisdom are in balance, extraterrestrial contacts are a common good, differences in religion are non existent, money isn't important anymore, gravity is controlled and society is free of greed, oppression, hate and violence.

• Take time to appreciate and be intimate with the natural environment.  Aim for harmony with it rather than trying to use it.

• Be mindful that technology that is considerate of the Earth and isn't just using it for human comfort is essential to insure a long-lasting civilization.

• Realize the possibilities of the power of our minds and what a small part of them we are using today.

• Cultivate intuition.

• Reach our inner selves for strength.  Work only for daily needs.

• Do not fear the prophecies of a "shift". The "shift" is evolving now on spiritual and mental levels as more and more aware human beings realize the importance of love and work toward the good of all human beings.

    Cats, dogs and snakes made especially desirable pets in Atlantis for the animals sensed terrestrial vibrations and the sudden increase in electronic activity that foretold earthquake and volcanic activity.

Rejuvenation in Atlantis

  Edgar Cayce tells us that the ingenious Atlanteans used crystals to burn destructive forces from the body in a way that encouraged it to rejuvenate itself.(Reading 440-5.) In The Romance of Atlantis Taylor Caldwell describes a secret rejuvenation chamber in a temple in the City of the Golden Gates where this procedure was successfully accomplished. Priests carefully guarded the powerful room and allowed only a few loyal leaders to enter. While in the chamber, the patient reclined in a comfortable chair, and technicians precisely focused the sun's rays through a crystal onto the elderly body. Simultaneously, the healers produced and magnified varied frequencies of sound, whose energy regenerated the tiny molecules of each cell, reactivating aging tissues. The operation restored the person's hormone balance, wrinkles disappeared, and energy returned. Skill and caution were important, since if the crystal was tuned too high it destroyed the body. One visit was usually adequate, for Atlanteans learned that as they grew older, like one too many days at Disneyland, events they once enjoyed offered less satisfaction when repeated several times. The pervasive sense that it had all happened before made life boring, and the prospect of spending more time in the physical body was not as appealing as the pleasant experience that was to come after departure from the Earth.
